Consumer Helpful Hints

  • Ask for current driver's license prior to allowing driver to drive vehicle.
  • "Walk" the vehicle to make sure that any previous damage (if any) to the vehicle is documented.
  • Report any driver to us via e-mail that behaves inappropriately, doesn't show up at appointment time or at all, or displays poor or reckless driving skills.
  • Review the itinerary with the driver.
  • Review service expectations with the driver.

Driver FAQs

  • Q: What are eligibility requirements to become a driver?
  • A: You must be age 18 or older, have a valid driver's license in the state you are operating, no DUI convictions within the past 5 years, no felony convictions, and you must obtain a current background check.

  • Q: What are my "start-up" costs to be affiliated with dd4hire™?
  • A: There is a $4.00 fee per booking and you must obtain a background check once a year.

  • Q: What are grounds for termination?
  • A: You will be subject to termination if:
    • You fail to show for your appointment
    • Reckless driving, speeding, etc.
    • Arguing with the customer for any reason
    • Negative feedback
    • Falsification of any information

Driver Helpful Hints

  • Clean-shaven or trimmed facial hair.
  • Easy on the cologne/perfume.
  • Appropriate clothes that are in good condition.
  • Wear a minimum amount of jewelry (if necessary at all).
  • Show up on time, every time.
  • Verify current vehicle registration and insurance.
  • "Walk" the vehicle with the owner to check for and document any existing damage prior to driving vehicle.
  • Check Driver's License of customer.
  • Check for valid license plate.
  • Obtain a copy of your driving record to help sell yourself.
  • Check for insurance card and vehicle registration.
  • Confirm the hours requested and arrange payment terms.
  • Report unruly or inappropriate customers to us via e-mail.
